Our 2035 Vision
High-resolution data from Manifest MedEx optimizes health and value for all
We are evolving! Manifest MedEx has been developing an ambitious new mission and vision for whole person care transformation with high-resolution data over the next decade – and we couldn’t have done it without you. Thank you for being part of the collaborative process that shaped these foundations.
We have always believed that every community and individual — not just the well-resourced ones — deserves accurate, complete, timely, actionable, and longitudinal health data that is ready to use in coordinating whole person health and powering a healthy, equitable future. This mission and vision formalize that commitment and chart the course for the next decade, with whole person health and social health at the center.
We’re also pleased to share a refreshed brand and website that brings this to life visually. Visit manifestmedex.org to see:
- A thoughtfully-designed website experience that uses custom animation and subtle wayfinding elements to guide users through complex information with greater clarity.
- A visual system inspired by high-resolution data — precise and clean — with a mosaic motif woven throughout that represents how MX brings disparate data into a complete view of the whole person through trusted, noise-free data that drives better health outcomes.
- A refreshed color palette and increased use of white space to create a brighter, more contemporary experience, improving readability while allowing key information and insights to stand out.

“As our collective definition of health has expanded to include mental health, social health, and wellbeing — so has our vision at MX for the role health information exchange can serve in our communities. We are trusted stewards of sensitive data, acting as a powerful connector so that health leaders, county agencies, providers, social services, and individuals themselves can work together with a complete, accurate picture of the whole person. We are leading the way in high-quality data that enables the kind of care we all want for our own families.” — Erica Galvez, CEO, Manifest MedEx

MX Quarterly Product Roadmap Update

Manifest MedEx is pleased to announce the go-live of a bi-directional ADT exchange with the California Mental Health Services Authority (CalMHSA), marking a significant step forward in connecting behavioral health data with the broader MX network.
The integration enables real-time ADT messages to flow in both directions. MX will send ADT messages to CalMHSA for patients with an established relationship with a shared DxF participant, and CalMHSA will send MX inpatient ADT messages to patients it serves who are also known to MX through a DxF organization. The exchange uses a FHIR API-based matching workflow to ensure notifications are routed accurately and appropriately.
This collaboration expands MX’s ability to support care coordination for individuals receiving behavioral health services — an important capability as California continues to advance integrated care.

MX Welcomes New Participants

Manifest MedEx welcomes Natividad Medical Center and Santa Clara Valley Health System to our ever-growing network!
Founded in 1886, Natividad Medical Center is a hospital and Level II Trauma Center owned and operated by the County of Monterey, with a mission to continually monitor and improve the health of people in Monterey County, including the vulnerable, through coordinated, affordable, high-quality health care. Natividad is Monterey County’s only teaching hospital, offering a wide range of inpatient, outpatient, emergency, diagnostic, and specialty medical care for adults and children. Manifest MedEx will provide Natividad with access to comprehensive individual records to inform clinical decision-making through MX Access, and enable ADT message forwarding to support transitions of care, reduce avoidable readmissions, and power critical public health interventions through MX Notify.
The spirit of caring for others in the Santa Clara Valley has been a core value for the Santa Clara Valley Health System (SCVH) for nearly 150 years, and that spirit is even stronger today. The founding of their three hospitals — Santa Clara Valley Medical Center (1876), O’Connor Hospital (1889), and St. Louise Regional Hospital (1989) — laid the roots of their healthcare delivery system, which continues to grow and evolve. In 2019, hospitals and clinics across the Santa Clara Valley formed the Santa Clara Valley Healthcare system to best serve the residents of Santa Clara County, a population of nearly 1.9 million people and counting. Through MX Notify, MX looks forward to helping SCVH receive/deliver automated hospital event notifications to keep their health teams informed and prevent avoidable readmissions.
