Manifest MedEx Successfully Implements New Data System for the California Department of Public Health’s Surveillance and Public Health Information Reporting and Exchange (SaPHIRE)

Manifest MedEx is excited to announce the successful migration of electronic lab results and data feeds from more than 400 labs and other entities that submit lab results to the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) to a single secure and streamlined system ‒ the California Department of Public Health’s Surveillance and Public Health Information Reporting and Exchange (SaPHIRE).

In 2022, through a competitive application process, MX was awarded a three-year contract to build and maintain this 24-hour-a-day, 7-day-a-week secure health data solution that normalizes and integrates lab data from across the state to ensure usability, scalability, and extensibility as these lab results supplement CalREDIE, California’s disease registry system.

“We are honored to provide SaPHIRE infrastructure to CDPH and elated to have completed this massive migration of lab data feeds from across the state. We look forward to continuing to improve lab data quality in collaboration with our partner, Availity Clinical Solutions (formerly Diameter Health) and supporting CDPH’s initiatives to create a healthier California,” said Erica Galvez, CEO of Manifest MedEx.
